Terms of use
Plain terms for using this website. By using it you agree to them. Effective September 9, 2026.
Who we are
This website is operated by Braintree Community Food Pantry, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 04-3466961) in Braintree, Massachusetts.
Using the site
Use this site only for its intended purposes: learning about the pantry, getting help, booking your visit, pledging goods, and donating. Don't attempt to access accounts or pages that aren't yours, probe or disrupt the service, or submit false information. Sign-in links are personal — don't share them.
Appointments
Visits are by appointment for verified Braintree residents, normally once per calendar month. Booking a slot reserves it for your household; please cancel from your account or by phone if plans change so another family can use it. We may adjust or cancel distribution days when needed (for example, weather) and will post changes on the home page.
Donations
Online donations are processed by Stripe and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; a receipt is emailed automatically. Donations are generally non-refundable — if you made an error (wrong amount, duplicate gift), contact us and we will make it right. Goods pledges are voluntary commitments, not orders; in-kind gifts are acknowledged by description and valued by the donor, per IRS rules.
The helper and phone line
The automated "Questions?" helper and the phone line's ask-a-question option provide general information about the pantry. They can make mistakes and are not a substitute for talking to us — anything important, please confirm by phone.
Our content
The text, photos, and logo on this site belong to the pantry or are used with permission. You're welcome to link to us or share our pages; please don't reuse the photos or logo without asking.
Third-party links
Links to other sites (for example, Stripe or our social pages) are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
No warranties; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available but can't promise it will always be either. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the pantry, its volunteers, and its directors are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always be at this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
